Here's the latest word from Dark Globe who lives in London and attended:

I've just come back from the tribute - it was wonderful - too overwhelming to go into now.
By the way SydsSexy, you were right about everything. Are you sitting down? There were four members of Pink Floyd at the tribute. RW did a solo song (I Shall be Free?) and Dave, Rick and Nick did Arnold Layne. Amazing - and in such an intimite setting too.
Will post full report and pics when I get a chance (probably not for a few days).
Wow.

Fuck me Batman!

Wow! I'm so happy, but so sad... I REALLY want to hear this! I wonder what video was played. And I wonder when it'll get officially released? And did any NPF community members go?

Dark Globe is a member of this forum, but his primary one is Late Night. That's where he posted this information. We're all begging him for more details....

Just got back from the show which was great hopefully it has been recorded professionally cos there were some good versions of syds songs I especially liked Capt Sensible version of Astronomy domine & Damon Albarn's Word Song also Martha Wainwright and the other two ladies (can't remember their names) did Emily

Back ground films included Pow R Toc H & Hans Keller Interview Jugband Blues. Slides during interval of Syd & some of his paintings

Jo Boyd gave a small speech thanking everyone in which he mentioned that the lighting (water slides etc) was been done by the guy (again can't remember his name !!) who used to do the effects with the Floyd at UFO

Altogether a most enjoyable evening :D :D :D :D

it would be so nice if a list of who sang/played what could be created
