Maybe this should be a what was the last thing you watched thread?
By the way I thought 28 Days later was superb! Id have actually liked it a bit darker but the use of Godspeed You Black Emporer was superb and fitted the mood perfectly (altho I do believe it physically impossible for GYBE to sound bad), and everytime I go into Budgens I want to listen to A.M.180! One of the things I loved about the film was that it was all relatively unknowns as well which made it more believable, its a refreshing change from all the Tom Cruise and Arnie nonsense where the outcome is inevitable. Another thing I liked was seeing everywhere deserted, there was something incredibly eerie about seeing places youve been to 100s of times in a state like that, just seemed to make it more real, IMO a fantastic film and possibly my favourite since Restless Natives.

The second consecutive episode of The Cosby Show is playing behind me.
I liked 28 Days Later and I didn't think I would since three of my favorite movies are Night Of The Living Dead, Dawn Of The Dead and Day Of The Dead and 28DL was being touted as a new spin on zombie movies.
I didn't care for the resolution, though...a bit of an easy out, I felt.

I think Danny Boyle really showed his skills in making a brilliant and dark horror film that was just as much man against man as it was man against zombies.
And that tunnel scene was just brilliant. Ok, so the film was just a dumb horror film, but set pieces like the deserted London were sensational and made it a cut above the rest
