I started watching the movie The Pianist. But it was quite depressing and I wasn't in the mood for that.

I love that movie, it's just so beautiful. (I guess I like sad, depressive stuff).rosm wrote:I started watching the movie The Pianist. But it was quite depressing and I wasn't in the mood for that.
Quite coincidentally, I was watching a Hitler speech

Watched The Exorcist. Hmmm... not very good is it? If I'd directed it, I would have made it more ambiguous. I would have had Regan's head turning witnessed by only one person, so the film becomes a fight of is Regan really possessed?
Plus the final fight seemed a bit rushed. But Regan's mother was an actress, so how about the priest finding make up in the room, further casting doubts.

Seeing as they've been remaking other horror films from the past, it's only a matter of time before they give The Exorcist a reboot. And if they do, we know where to go for the director

Million pound drop. I say watching it. I had it on a window and kept flipping to it every now and again.

The Devil and Daniel Johnston
A nice documentary about a bi-polar, crazy (?), genious (?) musician. I enjoyed it a lot, both his music and the documentary itself.

I watched The Nightmare before Christmas the other day. I quite enjoyed it. Didn't know it was a sort of cartoon musical.

A documentary on the BBC about the 10 songs that have earned the most money.
There's a run-down of the songshere if anyone's interested. The song that has earned the most money is a little-known ditty called Happy Birthday. Any time it's used in a film or TV show, the copyright holders get a cheque for $25,000!
