I went to his Facebook page to wish him happy birthday yesterday and I got this message from his cousin Sylvia:

"Hi there
I am terrys cousin and I noticed that you wrote on his wall today, I wanted to let you know that Terry passed away on Tuesday suddenly.

Im sorry to share this horrible news!"

I'm deeply shocked that such a great, young, cool dude is no longer with us. :( :( :(
Shine on man..... I dont know what else to say.... This is horrible.

I'm shocked Bran, that is terrible news :( :( . The contact that I had with Terry was only on an occasional basis but he seemed such a cool guy and kept positive despite everything that life threw at him, the loss of his job being the most recent. My sincere condolences to his family from everyone here who knew him :(

Gawd, that is terrible news. I'll miss him. He was always one of my favourite posters on this forum.

Am very sorry to hear it. I had little personal correspondance with him, but based on his posts he always seemed a really decent guy with a lot of interesting things to say.

thats shocking news
when I lived in Toronto he was apparantly a neighbour of mine though we never met
now I'm sorry I didnt try harder, he was a friendly funny lad and I always appreciated his knowledge of music, and even of old comics
remember he once said he'd worked on one of the Soft Machine archival releases? I think it was the prototypical Canterbury group that had split into both Soft Machine and Caravan

Oh God... He may have left the mortal world, but he's still in the spiritual one... RIP

Shall we do something in memory? Like, have a topic called "2066th week" or something? Make a picture for the site/forum front page? I could try make a bridged glittery "2066" logo...

Wow, I am truly shocked and saddened to hear this. Terry was great guy, and an excellent musician. He will be missed. My condolences to his family. RIP Terry. :(

thats awful - i didnt really know him but - he was too young to pass - very sobering news :-(
