Ok. So they don't annoy you. Are they supposed to annoy you? Because the way you've phrased it, you make it seem as if it's weird that they don't annoy you. So, they annoy you, or they don't?

I don't want to delve too deeply into it all. However it seems an odd comment to me because it says "I'm pleased when 13 year old girls don't dress provocatively once in a while". To be honest, 13 year old girls should be able to dress any way they want, because you (and society at large) shouldn't be sexualising them and turning them into sexual objects. If they are dressing sexually it is more likely because they are already immersed in a society that hypersexualises everything to the degree that children (at 13 they are children, sorry man) decide to try and emulate the world they grow up in.

I'm basically trying to say you are attacking the symptoms, not the disease. Still, a far more worrying problem is the inclusion of rape culture imagery in adverts designed for adults...

An excellent comment. I think society shows its own awkwardness when children inadvertently refer to sexual matter, or sometimes "play" with their body organs.

Just some questions for Alan:

1. If the taboo towards sex didn't exist, do you think things like prostitution or underage sex still be there?

2. Why has society started glamourizing sex, and even rape in some cases?
