P-Floyd formed in 1993 by band leader & guitarist Jan Stumsner.
Since 1998, the band every summer, attracting thousands floydianer from all over Europe to a barn in the village Skog outside Falun. The last six years the band has also been on tour in Scandinavian and, among other things, set up their own version of The Wall. During the tour in 2004
In August 2006 and 2008 the band overall success facing more than 8 000 in Dalhalla - one of the world's most powerful and most beautiful outdoor scenes, built in
bottom of a huge limestone quarry. The concert - a total experience with the symphony orchestra, airplanes, actors, lights, lasers and pyrotechnics,
was filmed by Swedish Television and the beginning of 2007 there was a 1.5 hours long documentary about P-Floyd, which was seen by 270 000 viewers. The concert inDalhalla also resulted in a live DVD and CD Grand, impressive and professional are some of the superlatives from previous concerts.
One of the reasons for the large up time, is P-Floyd dare to break the pattern and not be a carbon copy of the original. P-Floyd make a Tribute to Pink Floyd not a copy.
