It's just been on the news. It didn't get any details though. I'm presuming he's out on an electronic tag. He'd have only been in for 1/2 his sentence a/w...everybody is on short term sentences lke that but if they let you out on a tag you get out even earlier so he's only getting the same treatment as lots of other people serving his level of sentence. Don't forget his appeal failed and considerng the money they've got to get the best lawyers that's saying something.

First of all charlie samson is a spoiled little brat. Second like all the people in this world who have the money he got off on what he was caught and seen doing...He made his own popularity by being totally stupid and disrespectful. I do not care that he is the step son of David Gilmour and the first son of Polly Samsons. That alone would make him set for life. But he then get caught swinging like a f-----g monkey from the flag over the Cenatoph right in the middle of Tralf. Sq. in London. I mean he made every headline at first nobody knowing whether it was a girl or a boy. Then to find out the topic was raising the tuition fees in England. My god Charlie, shut the " F -UP". You have it totally made, why are you worrying and protesting about money issues.??? Then the excuse was " he was on LSD , MJN AND ETOH"...Oh that easies my mind. The step son of one of the wealthiest people in the world who is going to a high end college/university to study of all things history is out on the streets using illegal substances and caught doing violent acts aganist the war memorial site for people who gave their lives, to attacking the royal car that Prince Charles and wife were in..? I would highly recommend Mr. Gilmour put his money to better use than paying for the prestigious university that Charlie did go back to and graduated from with a history degree when on that fateful day he stated he had " no idea what the flag meant"...HUH? It goes to show that money indeed does make the world go around. If you don't have it or you do not have and know the right people and crowd you can and will get away with anything...
