The Wembley tracks and two alt. versions are my main reason for wanting this. The Wine Glasses tune is a let down after hearing the household objects tune on tDSotM release.

The only let down with Wine Glasses is that's way too short, the recording itself is quite amazing AND addictive, last night I spent like an hour listening to it on repeat while surfing the web, I didn't want to listen to anything else! At first you feel like its just the intro of SOYCD, but slowly you realize subtle differences here and there in the chords.

I thought it was absolutely brilliant, fantastic ambient music. Just beautiful.

It's as close as we'll get to live Animals material for a while now.

I gotta say though, while I love the guitar, keyboard and singing of Roger Waters on You've Got To Be Crazy, I really don't like how fast Gilmour sings his lines. Most of the time I struggle to discern what he's saying. I far prefer the lyrics from Dogs.

Wow, I'm surprised two people have posted they like the Wine Glasses track. Anyway, it is nice that some rare stuff has been released, if not much so far.

Wine Glasses is swell but its really just a third alternate version of a track fr the released album
The Hard Way was something completely new and unexpected

did they mention any more Household Objects outtakes might be lying round waiting to be heard?

The Hard Way was a revelation but Wine Glasses is a huge disappointment .If that was the only track we had from Household Objects then I'd have said they were wise to abandon it.

Agreed.

Otherwise, like the darkside immersion, it's worth getting this box for the '74 gig. Mix is amazing.

So I'm now wondering if Wine Glasses was actually the genesis of SOYCD? Or perhaps they just pasted the unused Household Objects track at the begining after writing SOYCD independently?

It does sound very much like it. Is the music just made from wine glasses or is Rick playing a synth?

cant get enough of raving and drooling and gotta be crazy.

Im sure there will be no Animals immersion if these 2 tracks are on wywh, why would they have not saved these 2 tracks for animals then?

Only just had the opportunity to put on disc 2.
G'damit - Rawing and Drooling beats the shit out of me!

The whole Wembley-gig is just so great. More jazzy, in a way - especially Nicks drumming is excellent - and Rogers vocals are so fragile (not much of a voice, but he bares it, barely!?)

But as SydWaters mentions, why are these tracks on WYWH?
