Been a while since I posted here.
I moved to Missouri a little over a year ago and told myself I'd get together with Mosespa someday since he's only like 5 hours away. Well, today was the day we made it happen. As you can tell from the pic, we both brought our guitars, sat by the riverfront and played a healthy mix of Pink Floyd and Pearl Jam.
A lady came by with her mentally-challenged child and I asked if she could snap a pic for us. Huge mistake! Her mentally-challenged child went berserk and tried to knock my cellphone out of her mother's hands. Not wanting to stress out the child, and fearing for the safety of my phone, I told her "really, it's okay, you don't have to take it." I'm just lucky to have my phone in one piece!
After a walk around town, many lengthy discussions, and some good BBQ, I had to let Mossy go to work. So there you go, the guy actually exists! Oh, and in case you're wondering, yes he even mossifies in verbal discussion!
An overall great day! The spirit of NPF lives on.

That makes three NPFers that I've met in person.
I hate odd numbers.
RAWS...I'm probably gonna come crash on your couch soon.

It's not dead yet. It's in deep hibernation.
I think some day, when social networks will no longer be in, an old, tired Floyd fan will eventually come back to chat with some old friends in the old way we use to.
Would like to meet some of the folks from here.
I plan to go to Ireland, maybee next year (depends on the kid)... friend from highschool works in Cork...who knows, maybee a beer with some of you would be very nice.

I might be in Croatia before too long. Anna really wants to go, and you can get a rail pass thingy that lets you go all over Europe. Might well be next year's parties.

Re: I met the infamous Mosespa today...
I've been a bit busy. I'm getting offers for studio work, lately for some piano session work with a former Billy Joel guitarist. Obviously not my kind of music but the pay is good. Have to save up to get more Nena memorabilia. A Steinway grand piano wouldn't be bad either.rememberaday wrote:
