I'd be up for that!mosespa wrote:Dude...you found the first one. See if you can find that one and we'll get another forum-wide project cooking.

Re: NPF forum
Hopefully, another forum tribute project of original material based on song titles being passed off as a "new Pink Floyd album" which Jambo finds and posts here.
We're just waiting for Jambo.
Then, if this goes anything like the last one, I'll start a thread listing the song titles, people will post which one they're going to write and record a song for (first come, first served,) then I will figure out how to assemble it all into something resembling a cohesive project...then someone else will come along when it's all finished, claim to be able to "take it to the next level" and just really ruin it since they weren't clever enough to have the idea for themselves.
But, I will keep my original mixes and assembly and listen to the unmolested masterpiece and remember it in that form for the rest of my days.

Re: NPF forum
We could always go with this one's song titles, but instead of calling it 'The Endless River' we could called it 'Double Core II'. If we did that, I call dibs on 'The Starlight'.

Fair enough! I'll pull the necessary post together.
Will you be doing "The Starlight" as an instrumental?

Yep. Instrumentals are kind of my thing. And I have some ideas bouncing around in my head already.mosespa wrote:Fair enough! I'll pull the necessary post together.

I had a look around, but it seems like the original hoax picture from 2006 was on my old imageshack account, which has been dead for a few years now.

There's a thread for the project, but because you spoke for it before anyone else (that I can find, anyway,) I'll put you down for it!Jimi Dean Barrett wrote:Can I write "Thursday" please?
