Re: Gilmour's Mansion
Nice find - I see there's an article on it (Hook End Manor) in theDaily Wail. What a shame the place appears to have been abandoned. There's a touch of the Marie Celeste about it, the way you can still see board games on tables, modern washing machines and crockery on the dresser. I wonder who bought it from Trevor Horn?

On a bit of a tangent, here's an article feature before and after images for another former Pink Floyd home
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... -room.html
Note, I have edited the title of this thread as the original subject 'property' was once the former home of DG whereas the title suggested it may still be.

^^^
Indeed, I recall there was a video on t'internet that featured an abandoned property (if I recall correctly in Sussex) that was once owned by Roger Waters ... unable to find it at present but I'll continue to look.

The property of Mr Richard Wright in Southern France is on sale since a couple of years. I am sad I can't afford to buy it. I would like to have it as my writing studio and invite musicians that can relate to the Music of Pink Floyd.
Shine on,
Peter

Mike Oldfield's house that he wrote Ommadawn in was up for sale again recently. Only half a million!
