Re: Animals re-issue including 5.1 mix coming
The son of a bitch single-handedly bankrupted the charity that put on The Wall - Live in Berlin. One of the largest paying audiences in the history of the world couldn't recoup the cost of putting on the show, the album and film sold poorly, and the charity folded. They ceased to exist. They were no longer able to help people. They turned the rights back over to that shit-heel so that any subsequent proceeds can trickle into his private island venture with Shakira, or ill-fitting watches, or whatever the fuck he spends his money on.

So much knowledge about someone you despise.

Well...knowing a lot about someone you despise IS better than hating them without knowing anything about them.
So, you're bitching about someone going about things the right way?

That's why we should focus on what he did before then.ZiggyZipgun wrote: ↑Mon Jun 14, 2021 5:29 pm
I think Roger's been getting worse for the past 40 years.

And then put the blame on Sinead O'Connor in an interview for the projects failureZiggyZipgun wrote: ↑Tue Jun 15, 2021 4:44 am The son of a bitch single-handedly bankrupted the charity that put on The Wall - Live in Berlin. they probably wont release till September October time at the earliest imo. I don't see the point people saying "no news on offical floyd site" they are not going to change their schedule cause of Roger's video and bring it forward

Re: Animals re-issue including 5.1 mix coming
Is this topic still about the upcoming remix of 'Animals' and the publicity around it?
Or is it the umpteenth topic derailing offtopic, going on and on about what a curse Waters always has been for Pink Floyd?
Will the 'Animals' remix have a much improved sound quality?
'Sheep' sounds like too many overdubs to me. Dull, murky. As if the drums were done on a cardboard box, placed in another room.

you have to be trusted
by the people that you lie to
It's nice to have reached a point where I rarely feel the need to convince anyone of anything. Rather, I accept others delusions. I consider their conscious or unconscious admissions of such delusions a fair warning. Like, I don't need to be too invested in someone so deluded. I've got enough delusions of my own to work through.

What is there to say about yet another remix of a decades old album? I find this off-topic stuff more interesting. And more relevant! You'll know about the quality of the remix when you listen to it. How much hype do you require? (rhetorical)
