"Monsieur Rene Magritte", 1978, soundtrack by Roger Waters and Bela Bartok. Directed by Adrian Maben - (Live at Pompeii.)
How Waters was able to work on this project when he was busy writing The Wall and The Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking?

His contribution is just about two and a half minutes of Pompeii-esque VCS3 drone and bass, which is probably exactly what Maben asked for. It starts around 9:35:space triangle wrote: Mon Aug 31, 2020 6:33 pmHow Waters was able to work on this project when he was busy writing The Wall and The Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking?

Just reading Mark Blakes new book and he mentions Storm was very inspired by Rene. I can see the similarities in the abstract art...

I hadn't heard this, and the YouTube links above no longer work.
This is *claimed* to be some highlights of Roger's contributions.
Here is a page of album covers using Magritte's wprk, and the relationship to Hipgnosis work is visible, IMHO.

Thanks for the link. I really like abstract and surrealism. Something other worldly about it.
