Does anyone know where the speech of the woman describing her failed attempt to kill herself & her kids, at the beginning of Three Wishes (album version), is from, and who she is ? Or is it completely fictional and recorded especially for the album ? Thanks in advance.

It would be difficult to track down that specific clip, but it was a South African woman being interviewed in the late 1980s, when "familicides" were actually a common phenomenon there.
