I wouldn't even call it second-rate Pink Floyd, even though it was recorded a full year after Piper. "Interstellar Overdrive" is great because of the unpredictable and atonal elements, whereas "So Boot If At All" just sounds like crappy jazz.

Mike Ratledge could play circles around Rick Wright. Robert Wyatt was well advanced beyond Mason as a drummer.
