I have a 500L reef marine fish tank. I have had it for a number of years and is mainly fish with live rock. Too many fish/pollutants to keep many corals other than a few soft ones.
I would very much like a dog! Covid has mean't I work from home now and having a dog seems viable as I am here all day to look after the thing.
I have several dogs. Some inside and others outside seeing that I live out in the country. Had dogs my whole life since I was 7 and am now 55, can't really think of life without a dog in it. They love ya when the whole world hates ya,lol.
We use to raise dachshunds for about 15 years. I really loved them but the back problems can do them in. Had many breeds and a lot of mixed-breeds as well. None were mean by the way we raised them and everyone had a different personality. Never had any luck with cat.
Don't have any pets at the moment, but since I was born until I moved out to go to university we have always had a cat in the house, save for the month right after we moved to Canada. At the moment my family has three cats though - Edison (a massive Siamese crossed with something else I don't remember), my littlest brother's ragdoll Ada Lovelace, and her daughter Lint.
It also turns out I'm mildly allergic to cats, but that's unlikely to stop me from getting one when I can afford to do so / live in a place that allows them.
Keith, I had a black lad pit bull mix that we got when he was 8 days old. He got to about 120 pounds and when he was full-grown I could get him in my lap on his back like a pup. He was such a gentle big dog. He had always been around little dogs ( dachshunds ) and thought he was a little dog as well. It really comes down to how you raise them.
