Just keep in mind, Pink Floyd is no longer in charge...it's the new owners.

We may actually get something.
I'm well aware its the new owners in charge now. But lets see what happens dont forget the releases for this year were already set in stone prior to the sale going thru when it was the old owners David and the in fighting behind the scenes. My best guess we wont see anything from the sale going thru till at least 2026 onwards regarding releases of material from the vaults.

Ah, did not know that first bit.

But if we get archival releases in 2026, I'll count myself lucky.

Fantastic! I love that they recorded the entire album performance live and are releasing it now, even though the studio album’s concert promotion only included two live dates.

Maybe, although he did The Dark Side of the Moon Live in 2006–08 for 119 shows in total. At this point I would rather see him do The Final Cut live (with "Tigers"), recorded as audio and video for a release, and (dream a little dream) Shine On 1–9 as a single live piece. Dave has been avoiding doing that since 1987, despite Jon Carin's requests on each group or solo tour up to and including 2016.

By the way, the Blu-ray includes an interesting feature: a track-by-track interview with Roger, where he discusses every song. This could be a treat for fans.

Waters once stated: ''Atom Heart Mother album is a good case, I think, for being thrown into the dustbin and never listened to by anyone ever again''.

Well, I think it's a very appropriate to replace 'Atom Heart Mother' with the 'Redux' in his statement.

The Dark Side of the Moon Redux is a good case, I think, for being thrown into the dustbin and never listened to by anyone ever again.

Exactly. I've had enough of his mumbling through songs without melody. Unfortunately he hasn't made a great tune since The Final Cut.

Redux is a fair forgery of one of the greatest albums of all time i mean cover bands have done better versions. Roger's ego trip version is boring as fuck & done to discredit DG, NM & Rick. People at the 2 Palladium shows were bored with his ramblings and pointless story about a bloody duck :smt015

I mean, be honest who plays this more than the original if you do you must be lying

Total BS. Why are you always trying to discredit anyone who appreciates work you don´t like? No need to call an album a forgery (if necessary you can call that Endless River, then maybe I will agree), no need to lie about the intentions because you assume something in typical Waters is evil fashion. Have you been at the Palladium shows? The live recording that came out is actually very cool. I appreciate the Redux effort much more than the cash grap Deluxe Edition of Dark Side, more than a cut 74 live edition that came out and more than an upcoming 94 live version that has been released a thousand times before.

It was done to discredit DG, NM & Rick? I guess that is why he went to NM to have him listen to it. But I guess baseless assumptions like that are just a thing in the Trump age. To quote from Rogers site: "And also it is a way for me to honor a recording that Nick and Rick and Dave & I have every right to be very proud of".

"I mean, be honest who plays this more than the original if you do you must be lying" - Nobody ever will, it´s just a new take, an addition to the original. Again to quote Waters: "It´s not a replacement for the original which, obviously, is irreplaceable."

Redux is far from perfect, some parts are boring as f*ck, some parts are actually brilliant. But it´s something new. At least somebody put some effort into the 50 year anniversary instead of releasing the old stuff over and over again.

any chance of the live version (which was only released on Record Store Day) appearing on streaming?

Nick's band playing live Echoes, which was also released last month on Record Store Day, will be released tomorrow on Spotify and others. I hope the same happens to this Rog live release

and now regarding the studio version, it has grown a lot on me lately, especially the first side sings.
Time sounds really beautiful. My only downer would be the Money version, but that was a song I was never much of a fan (even though the lyrics are brilliant )

For me this was the worst song on the album but I guess they needed a single to sell it. I love the album, but never really cared for this song.
