AI Generated Music - Create Some

I have been having a dabble with suno.com to create songs using AI just by giving it a prompt. Bit hit and miss but its a lot of fun. Inspired by Annoying Twitt!

Here is a song inspired by Syd Barrett's departure from Pink Floyd.

Sorry, I've been away a bit. Seeing Nick in a week's time has focussed my mind PF-wise.

Interesting song, but it's ... not quite Syd-era PF I think. Though, I had a go to prod Suno more in the direction of early PF. But, I got no closer. I think the lyrics that I got Chat GPT to write is interesting. I asked it to base the lyrics on the work of Edward Lear.

He danced with the cats by the river,
Singing songs to a whimsical bat.

With a runcible spoon, he wandered,

I ran out of daily credits on Suno.com before it came up with anything resembling a good musical realisation of those lyrics.

Even getting Udio to create ten songs from the above lyrics, the results were ... really bad. I think this is the best result. And, it's not good.

No worries about being away, sometimes life gets busy! It's great that you’re diving back into music and focusing your mind on that. As for the song, I can definitely see what you mean about it not quite capturing that Syd-era Pink Floyd vibe.
