As the tour progresses (https://www.setlist.fm/stats/david-gilm ... ?year=2024) we see that Gilmour now played the entire new album live, which is great.

This could be a really unpopular comment, but once again he's expressed a disinterest in playing popular Floyd songs, and yet still he comes out with Wish You Were Here, Time and Breathe. I understand playing Comfortably Numb and the other post-Waters songs, but it really saddens me that he continues to ignore his first two solo albums entirely.

He could've definitely played a Rick Wright solo song from Broken China, and probably revisited On an Island a bit more too. But that's just my opinion.

I really like his first two solo albums too. Whilst some of it was over-produced there are some classics in that back catalogue of his. Lucky David, he has a lot of great material to choose from. 8)

Indeed he does! Too bad he never choses it.

Is there a chance that any of the evenings were filmed for future BluRay/LP/DVD release? What do you think?

To celebrate the success of his new album and tour, David Gilmour has released a special live version of the first single from “Luck and Strange,” titled “The Piper’s Call Live Around The World.” This digital-only release features recordings from various iconic venues including The Brighton Centre, Circus Maximus in Rome, the Royal Albert Hall in London, the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, and Madison Square Garden in New York.

But why no “no way out of here, mihalis, murder, near the end, on an island, young lust, hey you, dogs, have a cigar, not now john, one slip, on the turning away” !
These songs is what we want to hear!
But instead we hear these boring

Sorrow
Coming Back to Life
Great Dy for Freedom
Fat Old Sun
Breathe/Time
Wish You Were Here
Great gig in the sky
High Hopes
Comfortably Numb

again and again and again
'Not Now John'? You honestly think he'd even think about playing that?
One Slip - Boring.
On The Turning Away - Boring.
'No way out of here'? - Good song.
'On an Island' - Perhaps that one along with Echoes no longer has the voices left alive to play the song properly.
'Young Lust' - Great piece of music but my guess is it wouldn't fit the flow of the show.
'Dogs' - Probably not a Roger Song Gilmour would want to sing.

High Hopes isn't 'boring' imo. It's one that moves me greatly and I'd miss this one of it wasn't played. It's probably the best PF song post Roger Waters.

Oh I quite like One Slip. Some great chord changes in that one.

Rome shows were pro shot filmed and in the tour program it was confirmed a Blu-Ray and Live album was in the works.

Here is my and my friend's vlog from Luck and Strange Tour. We went to Rome shows 1 and 2, and London shows 3 and 4. Enjoy! Maybe you can spot yourself in the video!
