I'd like to think there will be another album soon. But, similar things were said after Rattle That Lock, and it didn't happen. I'll stay optimistic.

To be fair, I’ve seen two or maybe three interviews with DG now, dating back to much earlier in the year, where’s he’s said there’s loads of material he’s created that he intends to make into another album, and that the process will start pretty much as soon as the current tour is over. So he’s like the buses in that respect.

Fingers crossed he’s true to his word. My daughter was a bit young this time round, but I’d love to take her to one of his live gigs. Hopefully he’ll do another limited tour for the next album as well.

All good intentions I guess. How for the life of me why eight long years pass before we get another is baffling. It was virtually ten before that! What does he do with his time you wonder?
Gabriel is the same although he takes even longer!!

I wonder if Dave might start to feel like David Crosby or Leonard Cohen in so far as they became very creative towards the end of their lives. Somehow I feel with Gilmour it might be different. I think it's his family more than his music that gives him reason to be. Who knows in any case.

I guess he has accomplished what he set out to do with his music. Plays for himself and his family. Good on him.

I mean if Luck and Strange is the note he retires on, I think I'll still be happy. "Scattered" does have a vague finality to it.
