Someone noted that Roger is beginning to look like Richard Gere.

I find it interesting, though, that you took exception to that and said nothing about Cheech as Nick.

Johnny Depp as Syd...interesting thought. Maybe it would work.

Leonardo DiCaprio would make a great young Gilmour. There are some pictures I've seen of David around 70-73 and the expressions are just identical. Lately, however, David's reminded me of the guy who played The Skipper on Gilligan's Island.

I was struck how much Roger looked like Gere as of late initially, but, and I know I'm being picky here, isn't Gere much shorter than Roger? I really think whoever "plays" Roger has to be tall. I also think Keanu Reeves would work. Don't know why...there's not a BIG resemblence, but sometimes I see a bit of Roger in Reeves.

Cheech as Nick...that's pretty funny.

Now what about Rick? I always thought there was a similarity with Jeremy Irons.

I was watching "Dead Ringers" the other night and noticed there was a resemblance around the mouth.

Unfortunately, he runs into the same problem as Richard Gere as Roger, that of being too old to play them when they were young.
