One episode of Sopranos (can't tell you which one, but it was on Swedish television this autumn. Probably one of the 2005 episodes.) ends with "One of These Days...". Perfect choice as it was a rather violent episode as i recall.

I'm sure Cartman once said "Ha ha, charade you are teacher" during an episode of South Park.

The film C.R.A.Z.Y. features several Floyd songs on the soundtrack, and the DSOTM prism is painted on the wall above the main character's bed. It's a really good film.

I remember the Run Like Hell riff being used in the olympics ceremonies in either 2000, 2002, or 2004

On the TV show WKRP back in 1978, the character Johnny Fever was playing Dogs (the acoustic section with dogs barking). Vern Carlson was like "do I hear dogs barking on that thing" and says "here is a thing called Pigs On the Wing I wonder what that sounds like".

Animals was played at various times throughout the show with Mr. Carlson asking Johnny Fever if that was in fact dogs barking on the record.

All of this plus turkeys being tossed from a helicopter.

"As God as my witness, Les, I thought turkeys could fly..." - Arthur Carlson, Pres. WKRP
Awesome classic! The song was Dogs. Johnny Fever said "gripping music huh".

Every now and then I'll be going past my grandmother's bedroom door and cannot figure out why in the world she's listening to One of these Days....

They keep playing it on The Weather Channel forecasts.
