county down

came across this song on kazaa it was attributed to roger waters,i am looking for help with the guitar tablature but have had no joy .

is there anybody out there (sic) that can help

some folks say that it isnt a roger waters track but i have been unable to find out any more

.any help much appreciated - thanks

The Pink Floyd Encyclopedia has no listing for a "County Down." In addition, I've never heard of it before.

I would say it is not by Roger Waters.

I have seen my fair share of incorrectly labeled mp3s on Kazaa, Napster, Scour Exchange, etc. On Napster, I once came across a file named "Pink Floyd - Learning To Fly Live With Roger Waters (VERY RARE)" It was just an mp3 of the PULSE version of Learning To Fly.

I love coming across the file "LED ZEPPELIN AND PINK FLOYD - WHOLE LOTTA LOVE ON THE RUN (LIVE RECORDING VERY RARE)" or however it is worded. As every die-hard Floyd fan knows, Pink Floyd never did such a piece with Led Zeppelin.

So this "County Down" is an instrumental? How long is it? Where and when did you get it, Keith?

I've heard of this song, but never heard it. I had been told it is actually by some small time canadian singer who is a big R.W. fan. Don't remember the name of said singer.

I never heard that song before I will make sure to helfind out if Roger did that song or not.
