I happen to find Roger extremely attractive, but then again, I am a mature woman and my tastes run toward thin men with larger noses as opposed to the bland Americanized faire of flabby pug-nosed potato-faced baldheads. I don't think anyone in the Floyd was unattractive, (they all have nice noses!) and Roger just happens to be the most appealing to me not just physically but also artistically as well. It would be interesting to know just what the people who are so ready to slag him off as far as looks go look like themselves. I suspect most of the people who say these derogatory things about him are men, so unless you're gay, what do you care anyway about his looks? Are you that insecure about your own that you have to call someone else ugly?

Making fun of anybody on this forum or members of the floyd past or present is against the rules. Saying India looks like her dad is perfectly natural though. I dont think Roger received any criticism that was harsh in any way. He has a very angular face and, scientific studies show, that such faces are generally not considered attractive. Saying that, the world is made up of all sorts of people. I do not have girls queing up to go out on dates with me!! Nor am I a gay.

India is a pretty girl. Nice hair.

BTW, I really do appreciate this forum and the generally well-thought-out opinions *usually* expressed by the above-named. I've been coming here since November and just now got up the nerve to post.

Defining behavioral rules is difficult. Interpreting and enforcing them are something else. I suppose there is a line and you know when it has been crossed. This forum is not juse for serious intellectual debate but for fun and personal enjoyment also. Saying nasty things abotu band members is not allowed like saying bad stuff about their families etc. But stating an opinion about the attactivness of somebody is just inside of the line.

Anyway, we have all seen India now. Who are his other children and do we have any photos of them. What about his ex-wife?

just because someone thinks Roger is ugly or anything doesnt mean anything, i mean, are they gonna stop listening to his music? probably not if theyre in a discussion board about the band. its irrelevant, but still fine to talk about. it really doesnt make a difference and its not worth arguing over

i know, i said its not worth arguing over, which doesnt necessarily mean that we're arguing. but you got me keith, i did mean it in that way but it really isnt an argument, some people just seem pissed off. my apologies

I was joking about roger, in fact, here's what I said about him in a thread on a different topic:

... I'll tell you what also, he certainly looks a lot better these days. Look at any of the old Floyd photographs and you'll see that he was a deeply ugly man. Since then he has transmogrified into a lithe, nubile, silken haired Adonis.

As you can tell, I think very highly of his face.

I'm not surprised his daughter's a model. Lots of models are right boilers.

the only reason his daughter is a model is because her dad is roger waters. im not saying she isnt good looking, because she is, verrrry good looking, but there are better looking women and models out there
