another great thing would be to release the animation/film clips that accompany the songs during the live shows. I know some exists on mpeg, like welcome to the machine, but what about the film clips that goes with Money, Us and them etc. And what about the "great pig escape" footage all this would be great to have.

I have a "fund raising event" copy of The Wall liv
Hi,
I taped a gig on Channel 4 in the UK of an RW concert of The Wall to sponsor the Disaster Relief Foundation's attempt to raise a Billion pounds. This was back in 1989 I believe, close to the fall of the Political Wall in Berlin. I wonder if this is the Concert you are trying to get released?
The show was a bit flaky but I treasure it. It featured greats such as Sinead O'Connor, Van Morrison Marian Faithful and many others. The whole gig must have been a nightmare to coordinate but apart from a few harrowing moments of silence it is a masterpeice! I recognise the drummer and one of the lead Guitarists also from this gig who are in the band for the 2000 "In the Flesh concert". (Even the Guitar is the same!)
Anyway, if the petition can get this show (or any other) released as a DVD, then I will get it for sure. It is a must for any RW collection.
Regards to all here.

Ok, i just had to delete about 7 posts that followed the last one in this thread, all for breaking the same rule.

for being a bit stupid
Would you rather Dave had never been part of the band and they'd stopped after one album? Thought not. Stop complaining about him.
Stay on topic and stop bashing David Gilmour.

Dave Smith, this is the Roger W. forum.RPitI was having a simple talk about Roger & others, what was thier best work. You need to lookwhere you are before you delete(which deleteing this thread was a load of crap),if you have any doubts if you should delete or not ask Keith for a 2nd opinion. We were on subject & you were out of line.

Sorry, but hwat are you talking about?
What i deleted here was a series of slag offs for TDB and AMLOR, i know there were some positive comments about Dave but it's just wrong to leave half an argument.
I assure you i don't delete threads without Keith's permission.
OOOOOOOOOOps
, ok, i noticed what you meant. My message was wrong, for some reason i thought this was in the Pink Floyd forum section, sorry about that, but the message is ultimatly the same.
This was just a lot of slag offs of Dave and that sort of thing isn't tollerated here. Even if i hadn't made the mistake of thinking this was the pink floyd section i would have deleted all the posts anyway.
Great, one of few times i try to properly lay down some law and i wrote the wrong thing. Oh well...
