Here's a funny story: One day Syd (yes, Roger Keith Barrett) was out collecting spiders, and putting them in a jar. He was asked why he was putting them in a jar, and he started laughing and said "To send them to George, who is afraid of spiders." I have heard that Roger Waters doesn't like spiders...don't know if this is true or not. So I wonder if Mr. Waters received a batch of spiders in the mail from his prankster friend? ;) I shall never know.

Reminds me of the story of John, George and Ringo driving to Paul's house and throwing bricks through his windows. Hmm. :?

Oh, by the way, speaking of Paul, I'm seeing Mr. McCartney in April in Birmingham! Me happy. Can't believe they haven't sold out yet... :)

That's not how I heard it. I heard that after receiving said spiders, Roger said, "just for that, Syd, we're not picking you up for practice anymore." Rest was history.

Yeah his real name is George. I have looked it up before. My dad loves that name(don't ask).

Hahaha..........I never heard of that story before I learn something I never know everyday. I hate Spiders too but if someone sent me a frog........you don't want know what would happen.
