I think it is important not to judge people in a black and white world. Everybody is a shade of grey!! Perhaps he has issues with being famous and, to feel comfortable playing to thousands of people and receiving the attention he does, he needs a "uniform". A suite gives a certain confidence to the wearer and, in the right context, is an acceptable prop. Wearing trendy clothes on stage may be the prop or uiform that Doyle II needs to feel comfortable. But, then again, perhaps he is just an arrogant so and so!!
Oh, look at me! I am Doyle Bramhall the second!! Sure he is a nice enough chap.

Actually reminds me of "Here Come The People In Grey" by the Kinks which gives such people a negative connotation: the clerical/ministerial people tha work in the government who send the writer a letter stating that the government has bought out his property and he has to leave.
I don't want to be one of the People in Grey or one of the masses. To me, everyone is a shade of color (or colour, if you prefer). But I do get Keith's meaniong and he does have his heart in the right place
IMO Sherly Crow is an old dog who's sold out more often than Stones concerts. She's a totally souless popstar, puts less personification in to her songs than Lemon Jelly and sings about as much from the heart as Kevin Bloody Willson.

Doyle is the first guitarist I have ever witness play a left handed guitar strung right handed and therefore "upside down."
Every leftie I've ever seen play is playing their guitar "right side up" whether it's a rightie guitar or a leftie guitar.
I personally know a couple of left handed guitarists who play a standard strung right handed guitar upside. I can only think of two other professional players who play that way: Griff from the Super Furry Animals http://www.ringsaroundtheworld.co.uk/im ... /4_jpg.htm but he's hardly a guitar god. Seal, yes Seal had a concert on cable a couple of weeks ago 'Seal live at the point' I'm in no way a fan of Seal but he had a fantastic guitar player who was a lefty and played a standard strung right handed guitar. I can't think of any others

Ok, Sherly is a millionaire probably, now she became a milionaire for releasing crap souless pop albums. She's well past it, changes her target audience like people change clothes and hasn't written a good song in a decade.
