I thought the concert was a travesty. There were to many guests ruining to many songs, and ultimatl the concert just worked purely as a charity concert (in the live aid sense) rather than a proper concert.

What i don't see is why he complains about stadium shows lacking intamacy when he's prepared to do that in front of loads of people with the scorpians and bryan adams. The concert was about as intimate as the film Showgirls (awful, awful film that) and IMO in contained the worst version of ABITW2 to date.

And the trial, don't get me started on that. If it had been Roger and the bleeding hearts band it would have been something special, but it was just an overblown affair with stars used wrongly and poor vocals wich just hasn;t stood the test of time (honestly, the sight of Bryan Adams, it's just to 80's for me.

Just my opinion though, i hope the people the buy it enjoy it immensly.

I think Roger realized that size was the order of the day.. when you're doing a charity gig the bigger and more spectacular it is, the more money the charity is likely to recieve. I agree it sounds hypocritical, but I can understand why Rog did it that way..

Yeah, I'll get it in the hope that there will be loads of before and after bits, as well as interviews. The show as I have it on video is a bit shabby, and not as well practiced as "In the Flesh Live" but I do like it. Unlike David above, I was happy to see all the other dudes doing a bit; even the ones that don't make part of my collection. It was a stunning line up but I concede it did then become more like live aid, but ,hell anyway!

I love this site, I'm glad I was pointed in this direction. I love floyd, there timeless music, Roger, David G their old and new music, films; everything!

My favourite album from PF I guess is DSoTM followed swiftly by Animals. Roger's best I guess is ATD, amazing music and reborn I reckon by events in Iraq. My fav PF site is NPF!
Thanks and respects to all involved in the site and members.

I have to admit that I am giddy about the Waters/Scarfe commentary that is going to be on the disc

That commetry could be intresting.

Actually, the main reason i doidn't like the gig was because i'm probably to young to appreciate the guests and can only judge them on their recent works. While all the guest just seem old gts to me they were probably really credible at the time.

Bashing members of Pink Floyd is not allowed on here. Don't you know how to follow rules, laddy?

I'm asking a question not slating him.

Also, i think i explained things well, it's constructive critisism and not aimless slagging.

Why did Gilmour perform Money on DB and MLOR tours when money is ALL those tours and albums were about?

Is that just a question that is tolerated?
