Live at the Cavern

Post by Neil »

Anybody seen or got Paul McCartney Live at the Cavern ? It's got Dave playing most of the lead guitar on it. He's really good and it's a great dvd - plenty of extras etc.. As for the show itself - pretty good. Pauls voice is a bit croaky at times, but it's nice to here him play loads of old 50's rock and roll covers.

I actually went to the Cavern club last year - it's great; loads of Beatles/Macca memorabilia on the walls. I don't remember coming out of it though

There's actually the club itself and opposite that, on the other side of Matthew Street, is the Cavern pub. The pub has got music memorabilia (signed guitars etc..) from all sorts of bands including a certain Pink Floyd :)

Pink Floyd ? Never heard of them. Are they something like the backstreet boys ?

I had the same problem last saturday afternoon. An all day session resulted from my trip into there!!! A great band from Holland were playing called A Hard Days Band and they were talented. :-)
