Astronomy Domine. It's one of the few Syd songs that I like to be honest.

"Other" really demonstrates the disintegration and disassociation of Syd's self from his fragmented mind at the time, and his relationship from a distance with the external awareness of a trapped consciousness from a third party perspective.
A true classic.

Syd was in a stormy state of mind. Just listen to Two Of A Kind and all will make Perfect Sense.

I like Jugband blues very much. The sad singing at the end is extremely beautifull. The part in the middle isn't very special, but those last lines. Those last lines. Perfect.

I chose Astronomy Domine. It was either that or Bike. I get a big kick out of Bike, but I prefer listening to AD anytime. 'Specially the UmmaGumma version. The P.U.L.S.E. version isn't that bad either.

I just wish there had been an acoustic version of See Emily Play, that would have been truely special.

I am not fond of the PULSE version. My personal AD favourite is on the Smoking Blues ROIO.

No contests, Jugband Blues is my favorite Syd Song
I play it a lot on my guitar, and See Emily Play.

Jugband Blues
"And I'm wondering who could be writing this song."
Last Syd song with Pink Floyd, wow! Like it was pre-daned. I always thought there was something special about that-

Either Bike or Jugband Blues.. I've always liked Bike. When I first heard Jugband Blues I hadnt known much of its background with Syd's psychosis, the song seemed so much sadder and poignant when I read more on Barrett.

See Emily Play... (she's often inclined to borrow somebody's dream til tomorrow...) I named my 3rd (of 4;) daughter Emily Elise. The Elise is for Beethoven's Fur Elise- another favorite.
