Live at Pompeii DVD confirmed
It has been comfirmed that Pink Floyd Live at Pompeii will be released on DVD with lots of extra footage!
According to Mark Fenwick (Roger Waters manager) and quoted from the Brain Damage website, “Live At Pompeii contains the concert in its entirety and a much longer version which includes the concert, footage of the recording of “Dark Side Of The Moon” in the studio, and new material of the band talking in the studio. This longer version is called The Director’s Cut and was conceived by the director, Adrian Maben. In addition, there is an interview with Adrian. The artwork and the concept for the DVD is by Storm Thorgerson.”
The release date is, os of yet, undetermined as the DVD is still been worked on. It is penciled in for the end of April or perhaps May. I will keep you posted on this site and through the free newsletter.
