Louise Clare Marshall is a British singer and musician whose talent has graced stages and studios for many years. Born in Oldham, Lancashire, Louise was immersed in music from a very young age. She began singing at just 15 months old and started piano lessons at the age of five. Her early years were filled with music, as she sang in the Oldham Girls Choir and studied at Chetham’s School of Music in Manchester as a pianist.
Louise’s musical journey continued as she joined the Chamber Choir and auditioned for the National Youth Choir of Great Britain. Her passion for music led her to become a member of a number of choirs, play the church organ, and win a place at Chetham’s School of Music before joining The National Youth Choir of Great Britain in 1990.
Professional Singer
As a professional singer, Louise has performed with a variety of artists and ensembles. She is known for her work with Jools Holland’s Rhythm and Blues Orchestra, where her powerful voice and dynamic performances have made her a standout member of the group. Her versatility as a singer allows her to cover a wide range of genres, from jazz and blues to pop and rock.
