Nick Mason
Ladies and gentlemen, its Nick Mason!

Pink Floyd drummer and archivist Nick Mason will be on the airwaves on Monday 2nd January 2012 at 7:15pm GMT. He will be appearing on Front Row presented by John Wilson. They will be revisiting their old recordings and reassessing the out-takes left in the vaults and consider why some tracks – and in some cases even complete albums – lie unreleased for years.

Also on the program are musicians including Kate Bush, Brian Wilson, Ray Davies of The Kinks and Nile Rodgers of Chic.

It is quite fitting that Nick should be featured on the programme given that Pink Floyd are currently re-releasing their albums in Experience and Immersion editions to fans. These new versions of the albums, of course, feature live concert recordings, archived video recordings including The Wall in Earls Court in the forthcoming The Wall Immersion Boxset and other materials that have been dug up out of the archives and had the dust blown off!
