Nick Mason’s 2025 Middlewick House Charity Writeup
Attending Nick Mason’s open garden charity event is an eagerly awaited calendar event for many. There are petrol heads there for the amazing collection of cars. There are Pink Floyd fans to see Nick and his house in the country. There are families there for a day out shopping the stalls and getting a bite to eat from one of the many vendors on site.
One of my favourite parts of the visit was meeting Nick. He signs fans items, for a donation, at 11am and 3pm. Fans are normally let into the queueing pen an hour before so expect a long wait. It was raining heavily on Saturday 7th June for the afternoon signing session. Nick came out early as fans were forming a large queue in the rain. Very thoughtful indeed. Thanks Nick! Nick has a policy of signing only two items to enable more fans to get something signed. He also does a dedication to the individual to discourage things going on eBay.
Photos from Middlewick House 2025
Here are my photos from my visit this year. I didn’t take many of the cars because it was raining and I look at lot last year which you can see in the photo gallery.

The Corsham Rock Choir performed in the rain. They seemed happy enough.
A spokesperson for the Wiltshire Bobby Van Trust said: “This year’s Middlewick House Open Garden event drew a record crowd of more than 15,000 people across the weekend, including an unprecedented number of people turning up on the Sunday to buy tickets on the door”. That was probably people returning from the bad weather on the Saturday!
What else to do in Corsham?
There are plenty places to eat and drink and visit. I recommend the Amore Italian restaurant. The food at the Methuen Arms and Mother and Wild was also excellent. Recommended. Nick Mason’s local pub is probably the Hare and Hounds, although its not that great if I’m honest, there were about 30 flies in the dining room which was not a good look.

What else to do when in the area?
National Trusts near Corsham
There are plenty National Trust properties around to have a walk and see how the other half live. My partner and I visited three.
Great Chalfield Abbey and Garden National Trust has a nice little church and a big lake/house to walk around. I love any body of water.
Lacock Abbey is also a nice place to visit. Some might recognise some of the quaint streets from Harry Potter!
Croome National Trust was also excellent as its a former RAF Base from WW2 and the Cold War. It also has excellent open park grounds, church and not a great main house as it had most of its contents sold. I overheard that part of the house is in a museum in New York of all places. They will be taking London Bridge next! Note this is about an hour from Corsham, I include it here because I visited on the way back up North.
