A recurring theme of Syd's was the "Victorian Lady with yo-yo". Syd was tutoring Libby his childhood sweetheart, in how to sketch a Victorian lady to help her with her art course at school.

Interestingly, this piece was dated as 'shortly after Syd left Pink Floyd' i.e. after 1967.

The full description from the auction at which it was sold:

"Roger Keith 'Syd' Barrett, a mixed media collage of a lady, produced in various strings and twines with a hat made from shells, the whole mounted on a cork oval, unsigned, 29cm high Barrett was in therapy at a rehabilitation centre shortly after leaving Pink Floyd, during which time he attended daily craft workshops, it was in one of which sessions he produced this collage. Proceeds from the sale of this piece will benefit the blind."

The collage was given by Syd to one of the nurses that tended him at the rehabilitation centre, and was sold in aid of a charity for the blind at Cheffins auction house in 2007.
