The famous Animals cover has been re-created this morning at 6:30am until 7.20am at London’s Battersea Power Station. This was, of course, for the launch of Why Pink Floyd, the first phase of the release starting today.

Storm Thorgerson originally set Algie the pig up at the disused power station back in 1976 to create the iconic Pink Floyd album cover. The original pig blew away in the wind and EMI were not wanting a repeat of that today!

Luckily Algie did not blow away today like he did last time and ended up on a farm far away!

If you have a photo from this morning nad would like to share with NPF then please do get in touch!
