Roger Waters 2012 Tour of The Wall is set to resume this evening at the Foro De Sol in Mexico City, Mexico.There will be two performances here on 27th and 28th April 2012 taking the total concerts performed in Mexico by Roger Waters to 9, of which 5 will have been on The Wall Live tour. This concludes both the April shows and Roger’s performances in Mexico.

Now out come the big trucks and containers to move the massive great wall all the way to Houston, Texas. Roger Waters will be performing at the Toyota Center on 1st May 2012 to kick off the 2012 USA and Canada tour dates. Roger will perform 10 concerts in USA before visiting Canada where he will be performing in Vancouver, BC. He will perform at BC Place. He then heads back to USA then back to Canada, then USA again. Why would he not do all the Canadian concerts in sequence to save on the petrol money? ha!

Many NPF visitors would have been to see Roger on The Wall tour already and a good fair few will be watching one of the 41 upcoming shows. There is also rumour of more shows being announced for 2012 later on this year around August and there was also mention in an interview of Roger possibly returning to Europe in 2013 for more Wall shows! The size of this tour thus far has certainly blown out of the water the previous tour of The Wall by Pink Floyd in the 1980s. The technological advances since that point have allowed for a much more grand show and is a totally immersive audio and visual experience. Who would have thought the oil slides of the 1960s UFO underground concerts would turn into projections across stadia!

Which Concert Would You Like To Have Attended?

Although the current tour of The Wall is a show most fans would like to see, which concert from Pink Floyd’s history or, perhaps, which era of the band would you most like to have seen live? Perhaps filming the Pompeii video in Italy? Perhaps in a sweaty UFO club in swinging London in the 1960s? Perhaps being blessed with a Dark Side of the Moon rendition before the album had been released?
