Roger Waters has given a preview of his new song ‘The Bar’ in a benefit event for Julian Assange. Julian Assange was working for the NSA spy agency in Hawaii and copied a lot of confidential information and shared it publicly. He went into excile for a long time on the run from the Americans, and Roger is supporting him. This is not a political blog so we won’t be getting into the detail of all that, but we will be sharing the video below for you to have a listen instead. David Gilmour on Jools Holland New Album Released November 2021

Pink Floyd’s David Gilmour joins a host of other artists to feature on Jools Holland’s new album “Pianola. Piano and Friends“. The new album, featuring the likes of Tom Jones, Rick Wakeman, Dr John and Jamie Cullum to name a few, will be released on Friday 19th November 2021, a week before Black Friday shopping bonanza. Grab a copy from Amazon, or listen to Do The Boogie featuring Mousse T on streaming services. The title of the track that David Gilmour’s appears on is Blues for the End of Time. David Gilmour has lent his guitar playing skills to a new recording of ‘Need Your Love So Bad’ to help promote a book. The book is Albatross Man and is a visual documentary of Fleetwood Mac founding member Peter Green who sadly passed away last summer. The book was 4 years in the making and is an exceptionally exclusive product. The “ultra deluxe signed” version is £2,000 and is limited to 50 copies. Listen to Radio Interview with David Gilmour – Includes New Music Clips

BBC Radio 4 broadcast an excellent interview with David Gilmour today as part of their Front Row programme recorded at David’s first concert from his World Tour 2015-16. The 9 minute interview contains some tantalising snippets of two new David Gilmour songs from his forthcoming album Rattle That Lock which is released worldwide on 18th September 2015. You can listen to it below. Polly Samson tells the story of where The Girl In the Yellow Dress came from and you can listen to a clip of that during the interview. You can also listen to a short sample of  Faces of Stone. Watch Making of “Today” – David Gilmour’s New Song

Many people will be getting excited for the David Gilmour preview concert tomorrow at the Brighton Centre on Kings Road in Brighton England where David will have a pre tour concert – they will be testing out the production on a live audience and ironing out any issues before the show hits the road starting on 12th September in Croatia. Judging by the lovely pictures posted online by lyricist Polly Samson – David’s wife and lyricist on David and Pink Floyd’s albums – the show looks to have the iconic circular screen in the background on to which projections are formed. Looks like fans can expect the usual multimedia experience.
