Listen to Dogs (2018 Remix) From Pink Floyd’s Animals

At 5pm GMT UK Time, on 22nd July 2022, you will be able to listen to the 2018 remix of Pink Floyd’s Dogs track from the Animals album. The albums has been remixed and has been delayed in being released since 2018 due to differences between Mr Waters and Mr Gilmour over the liner notes written by journalist Mark Blake. Pink Floyd’s Animals 2018 Remix Details and Release Date

Fans have been waiting a long time to find out when the new Animals remix will be released, what formats are available and what other goodies and features may be included. Well, the wait is finally over as we can reveal the details below. The formats of Animals 2018 Remix include CD, LP (with gatefold artwork), Blu-ray, and SACD. These will be released around the world on September 16th, with the deluxe being available from October 7th 2022. The reason this 2018 remix is only just being released in late 2022 is because of the arguing between Roger Waters and David Gilmour after author Mark Blake was commissioned to write liner notes to accompany the release but the pair could not quite agree on them. Pink Floyd Hey Hey Rise Up Limited Edition 7″ + CD Single – Physical Releases with Reworked Pink Floyd Classic

Pink Floyd is to release two physical versions of their first newly recorded music in over 25 years, Hey Hey Rise Up. The single, which was initially released digitally in April in support of the people of Ukraine and was Number 1 in 27 countries, will be available on 7″ and CD single. Both formats will also feature a newly reworked version of A Great Day For Freedom taken from the band’s 1994 album, The Division Bell. The single will be available on 15 July (excluding Japan – released on 3 August – and USA, Canada, Australia and Mexico – released on 21 October). Pink Floyd’s Saucerful of Secrets Mono LP Release for April 2022

Pink Floyd will release the remastered Mono LP of their second album Saucerful of Secrets on April 29th 2022. This follows the recent release of Piper at the Gates of Dawn mono LP, which was released earlier this month. The original mono mix of Pink Floyd’s A Saucerful Of Secrets, remastered by James Guthrie, Joel Plante & Bernie Grundman from the 1968 analogue tapes, is released on heavyweight 180g vinyl (following its limited Record Store Day 2019 outing). It’s the Floyd’s only album to feature all five band members after Syd Barrett was replaced by David Gilmour. Pre-Order from Amazon now I wonder what other LPs are in the works? Animals 5.1 & Stereo Remixes to be Released Soon, Plus Roger’s Broadside on David Gilmour

The much delayed 5.1 remix of Pink Floyd’s Animals album is due to be released soon much to our relief. The project has been sat on a shelf according to Roger Waters in his latest video update on the project. Apparently the liner notes written by Mark Blake, and edited by Roger, did not get the approval from David Gilmour that Roger was looking for. Hence the project, due in 2018, is now ready for release without the liner notes included as a compromise. For those interested to see what the liner notes said, Roger has shared them, along with some information about the memoirs he is working on. Roger attacked David and Polly last year about the “Von Trapped” business and him not being allowed to access the 30 million followers on Facebook that the official Pink Floyd account has.
