Re: Richard Wright's Best Musical Moments
Agree with those last two! There's some great Rick stuff on Obscured By Clouds, including what I think to be one of his best (and last) solo songs - "Stay".
I love all of his performance in Pompeii. And the bits of him pretending to overdub piano on Us & Them are great too.

While Rick did sing Stay, it was Roger who wrote the lyrics.robertcrosbie wrote:Agree with those last two! There's some great Rick stuff on Obscured By Clouds, including what I think to be one of his best (and last) solo songs - "Stay".
Still a great song.

Re: Richard Wright's Best Musical Moments
For me it has to be 'Wearing the Inside Out'* - it seems a shame that it wasn't performed live more often.
* although it was only co-written by Richard Wright, no clue how much of it was his though I have the thought in my head (from somewhere unremembered) that the lyrics were his.

i think i read somewhere that the basic idea for the lyrics came from him though
