Yes, exactly. I often run a few different programs, and am surprised when one catches something the other does not.Damn!t wrote:I think that it's not a question whats better here... These programs search
slightly different kinds of shite on your comp. You should use them both.

Still, you have to find out for yourself which combination is the best for you. Per instance, the latest version of Avast doesn't run with Zone Alarm, while both of them are very good on their own. It all depends on what you do with your computer and/or what sites you visit. I go with Avast and Ad Aware together and I'm very satisfied with the results.

I ran the latest version of Ad Aware and it only found three advertising tracking cookies which is fair enough.
I shall try that SpyBot one.

Last year I got a nasty dose of malware on my laptop. I ended up having to go onto Geeks to Go in order to get it fixed up. One of the programs that the guy who helped me got me to run was Super Anti Spyware. It's a good program as well - it seems to pick up more stuff than the others and it's free.

I am no longer infected with this beast. I have moved up to Vista since. Must have been a filthy disease I picked up along the way!

Welcome to the club! It isn't really that bad. I am so used to the layout now, XP looks like it is 10 years old.

FsUsbExDisk is not malware. It is software that comes with Samsung mobile phones. The file, along with FsUSBexService is installed as part of Samsung's New PC Studio software.
