I still can't decide, with all the Roger Waters stuff about at the minute I nearly went for him, but then when I hear Comfortably Numb off Pulse... I can't help but think Gilmour is a guitar God!! I dunno...

I've finally made my mind up. Roger! The more I listen to In The Flesh, the more I appreciate it. (Thanks Keith!!) Roger's proved he can cut it solo and maintain a high standard in his work, and for that, he gets my vote!!

At the moment Rog is my favourate, Rick needs a mention as he was always under rated for his contribution on everything, Nicks the drummer and their not musicians so he will probably get a low vote and then theres David who has taken over from Rog as the miserable old man of the band.

Syd was the man. Dave may have been the musician of the group, but Barrett was the most creative. Piper At The Gates Of Dawn is one of the most remarkable psychedelic albums ever produced, thanks to Syd's vision.

That's why i like the current floyd lineup. David's David, Richard's Richard and Nicholas is Nicholas rather than having Roger faking his name's Syd and George faking his name's Roger. Why?

Well Syd is a very old nick name that was given to him by a musician at the Riverside Jazz Club named Sid "The Beat" Barrett. Roger just droped the name George.
