I actually regret writing that post up there now. I know why I wrote it, and it was pretty immature. Sorry. :-#

It might get a bit confusing, though.

Up to Keith.

Actually, that should be rephrased, we have every faith in everyone on this forum staying on to reach judge  It's just of the only 3 people close to it 2 of them are moderators.

Um. I've only been on this forum for just about 2 months...I plan on getting 1500 posts someday, because I'm not going anywhere!!!

Now in what i said there i was presuming by the time people who are quite new like you reach 1500 something else will have been thought up to revolutionise this forum and others :D By then judge awards will be a thing of the past.

Not that i'm implying it's a long time from now or anything, i would claim this to be in many ways an innovative forum.

Just an idea so don't hit me.

I don't think that the word association thread should count for posts; it seems to me that it's a cheap way to advance up the ladder. Is there even a way to manage that in the software? I'm not asking that posts be deleted or anything, because I contributed myself, but rather we just don't have future ones count. It's just to easy to ring up posts.

Does anyone agree with me? or is it trivial?

Yeah but to be fair if you reach judge and you do that game a lot then you must have still written a lot of other posts to get to 1500.

At the end of the day, ranks on any forum will reflect the number of posts made by someone, not the quality of their contributions. And a ranking system based on that would be too subjective, anyway. :-s :-#

On some other forums I have used they also have a rating system for other members to rate each other.

That could be good until people start getting offended
