BUT I love the Montreal concert, it's one of my favourites.

over in our neighbouring forum AFG, I noticed RonToon arguing his theory that the long PigRant at the end of Set 1 was not Roger taunting the annoying kid in the crowd, but him addressing the giant inflatable pig, just as he would do at the beginning of Run Like Hell every night during The Wall performances
I never thought about it before, Id always assumed Roger did spend several minutes winding this kid up before delivering his slimey gift, but it also makes sense the rant was the first appearance of a theatrical element he'd develop further next tour: they usually did something a little extra for the last show of previous tours (Alans Psychedelic Brekky 1970, Embryo/Breathe jam 1971)
so its not necesarilly at the end of that rant that Roger hoarks the loogie, we can only guess exactly when the magical moment occurs

I seem to recall Waters once describing the situation and if memory serves correctly, his wording left me with the impression that the actually spitting occurred during an instrumental section in Pigs (3DO.)
