anyone know why Pink Floyd chose to leave the second part of Empty Spaces off of the album? (it's on The Wall right after 'Empty Spaces' but it's not on the album.) I quite like that bit and I find it very disappointing that it's not available on the album!

Also, which came first? the film or the album? Is the film based on the album or is the album the Soundtrack to the film?

"What Shall We Do Now?" did not make it on the studio album because they could not fit it and all the other songs on two LPs. WSWDN? was unfortunately cut.

The album came out before the film.

Buy the cd "Is There Anybody Out There - The Wall Live 1980-81"
the song is on there.......and if you like The Wall it's something you should own......I don't think I've listened to the studio version more than once or twice since the live one came out
