Why was post deleted?

I may be looking in the wrong area but it seems my post that included a poll on which was the weakest Floyd record... has been deleted?

I deleted it as it was degenerating into a bad topic. I didnt like the undertone of the post either which may have been against the forum rules of bashing members, particularly that lovely Mr Gilmour.

Well I wasn't here to read any of it but the last time I saw it there were four votes for Division Bell and no votes for any others...

So what did others do to make you delete it??

Are you saying I was attempting to cause trouble by starting the thread??

I was joking. I thought putting the laughing man instead of a frowning evil emoticon would make the message clear but this is cyberspace and 70% of communication is body language so messages cannot be that meaningful!! I will delete this thread tomorrow.

I barely have the time to read all the post to make sure they conform to the rules!! I dont have time to let people know but I am sure they will know it was deleted if they cant find it. Alternatively, the topic may be moved into another forum where it is more appropriate!
