And if you don't feel like using Bit Torrent, get DC++ and register at http://www.bootlegarchive.com. Lots of Floyd boots there, plus lots of people are sharing the Live 8 shows in great quality.

Download problem!!?

I can only download up to 450 MB before I get: "Pink_Floyd_Live 8.rar" : IO Error [Errno 13] Permission denied.
I have tried it 3 times now. Can the torrent be split in 2 or what is wrong?

hey michael, not sure what's going wrong with your download, so i just should try another one... go to

and pick a file.

i recommend PinkFloydLive8DVD uploaded by gnut.
it's amazing quality and contains the complete concert from the bbc announcement up to the point where they walk of the stage, but it's a rather large file...

if you prefer a smaller one i recommend Pink Floyd - Live 8.avi uploaded by Ell-Ess-Dee.
it's also good quality but misses a few seconds at the start and the end (all the music is there however so you won't really miss those missing seconds...)

so, ive got bit torrent
downloaded the 600 mb file
put said file into the extractor, and now i have like 30 separate rar files.

do i extract each of these into an mpeg?
if so, can they be joined together?
help!

Go into the first RAR and extract the MPEG there. It will join all the parts automatically.

Extract the first rar file as you have done to reveal the 30 or so separate ones.

Now extract the first of the 30 rar files and it will decompress into one big MPEG file!

wow, thanks for your quick help guys.....

ive done that, got a mpeg2 decoder and got it to play....

quality is great, but video is a bit slow and audio keeps breaking up....does the same with win media player, real player, and globalDIVX.....

any more ideas?

Thank's Keith for the video, downloaded it at work today then wtched it at home in my Wish You Were Here t shirt (don't fit very well now), bloody wonderful. :lol:

No Audio on the dvd quality video

Hey All,
Downloaded the dvd quality rar file( AWESOME Quality) but I'm not getting any audio. I'm using XP and media player 9 with sp2 and all the latest updates. I wanna put this on a dvd . Don't know if I need to d/l codecs or what.Any help anyone can send my way would be really appreciated. :cry:

OK.. been awhile since I burned these type of files as a DVD (the 710MB BitTorrent file). How are others out there doing it? I tried NERO but it states that it's missing files. Help.
