Solo debut

Post by summer68 »

I feel that David Gilmour's first solo album doesn't get the credit that it deserves. There is not a single song on that album that I don't absolutely love. I know that most like The Wall, but I think that Gilmour's album, which was written at the same time, is right up there with The Wall. Gilmour even wrote Comfortably Numb while recording his album. I just wanted to see if anyone else has the same opinion.

Well, I prefer the second solo album than the first one.
Don't know why...it is too different from PF style....while the second one is in Gilmour guitar playing style.....

Big fan of the Mihalis album...doesn't get its proper recognition.
