Because it was too late to get 2 days in the same one.

[They went on sale today so perhaps buy one??? ]

I made the post after the date came as "sold out" on the seetickets site.
They were removed from the Royal Albert Hall site also. I got through though to the Royal Albert Hall's box office later in the day and was able to get one of the better tickets so I'm sorted now.[/quote]

hullo, this is my first post and i just wanted to add something about the priority tickets.
i was lucky enough to be one of the few who received the email from David Gilmour which allowed me to purchase priority tickets.
after buying my tickets, i emailed trinitystreet and asked which area of the hall the priority tickets were for and received a reply that they would be the best available seats in the STALLS.
now if you go to the royal albert hall website and look at the seating plan, you will find that the stalls are the low level tiered seating around the arena floor which is also seated.
surely the best available seats BEFORE the general sale were the first rows of the arena floor and not the stalls.
sounds to me as if the promoters have cut a deal with some of the ticket brokers so that they can sell the front tickets for massively inflated prices.
don't get me wrong, i am happy to be sitting anywhere in the hall as long as i am there, it just strikes me as wrong that the promised best available tickets were in fact not.

I am certainly going! I got my tickets on the day before general release!!!! 8) I am going on the final night on the 30th.

Just as a note, there are many seats in the Royal Albert Hall that are actually owned on 999 year leases by families who can turn up when they want except on special ocasions when the whole hall can be sold by promoters. If I end up being put in the stalls and not at the front, I am going to to mental!

?142 for 2 tickets. Which is a bit ridiculous anyway but If they're not near the front (the arena) and somewhere else then I too will go mental and probably afterwards I'll do something to get some of that money back  :o

We could all get together and sue the promoter collectively! :o 8)
