To me, Time wouldn't be bad at all!
Your opinions?
what do you think David will play?

I would like to hear Childhoods End. Something differnet.
Also Dogs, Time, What Do You Want From Me, There's No Way Out of here, Coming Back To Life, Hey You, Shine On
Probably Wish You Were Here.
I hope he won't play Comfortably Numb .....I think we've heard that too many times although loads of people can't get enough of it.....if this tour is to be any different then he'll have stop playing the usual songs like Money and Run Like Hell and play something he hasn't played for a long time

Well, if it's going to be an acoustic set again, I'd be satisfied with what he had last year, but maybe add in Green Is The Colour, combine Shine On into one song (hearing a raw-acoustic Shine On just... isn't as powerful as electric), get Fearless in there, add There Is No Way Out Of Here, and maybe get On The Turning Away into the set.
If it's a full electric tour... limit songs he DIDN'T WRITE to just Money, Wish You Were Here, and Run Like Hell. (And maybe one or two Syd songs.) Bring in a lot of his pre-DSotM songs (Fearless, Childhood's End, etc.), use the TDB songs from last tour in electric form, add Learning To Fly and On The Turning Away, plus some of his self-titled debut songs, Blue Light, maybe a Joker's Wild song for good measure, extend Fat Old Sun as far as need be, and augment that with new-album stuff and only play other important Gilmour-having songs by the Floyd if it's an anniversary of it's album.

Well, since on his acoustic DVD he didn't play anything from either of his previous solo albums, he doesn't seem to hold them in very high regard. Too bad, because although neither is a classic, both have some great songs on them, so I hope he throws in a few from those along with some PF material. I'm sure he'll play Comfortably Numb, since that's pretty much his signature tune. But yeah, it would be great if he dusted off some earlier DG gems from the PF catalogue to play. The Great Pig In The Sky wrote:Hopefully, he won?t play anything from About Face

Don't act like it's so impossible, I recall David Gilmour played drums on one of Syd's disasterous solo appearences. Yeah, the song broke down, but that's only because Syd left the stage for some reason...
Then again, maybe he left the stage because he didn't want to be humiliated by his incompetent drummer.
